Where We Build: Payne County to Tulsa
Custom homes and general contracting across the country between Stillwater and Tulsa, and the towns in between.

Home Builders for the Country Between Stillwater and Tulsa
Most of the people we work with already have the land — a few acres off the highway, a lot at the edge of town, a piece that’s been in the family. What they need is a builder who knows this stretch of Oklahoma and will give them a straight answer about what it takes to build on it. That’s the country we cover, and it’s where we’d rather be.
Where We Build
Towns and Counties We Serve
Perkins, OK
Perkins sits fifteen minutes south of Stillwater on Highway 33, close enough to town for work and school but far enough out that lots come with room around them. It's one of the areas we get asked about most, and it's a good example of what we mean by rural building — a lot of the land between Perkins and the Cimarron has its own well and septic situation, its own access questions, and its own idea of what a driveway costs. We'd rather work through all of that with you before there's a foundation than discover it afterward. If you've got acreage around Perkins and a house in mind, we'll come walk it.
Cushing, OK
Cushing is a working town, and people building there tend to want a house that works too — practical, well built, no wasted money on things that don't matter. That fits how we do things. We build across Cushing and the surrounding country, from in-town lots to acreage out toward Yale and Ripley, in the modern ranch and farmhouse styles most people out here are actually asking for. Being based in Ripley puts us about twenty minutes away, which means we're on your job when we say we'll be, not calling from an hour out.
Drumright & Oilton, OK
Drumright and Oilton sit in the northwest corner of Creek County, in the stretch of country between Cushing and the Tulsa side. It's some of the best land in our service area for building the way we like to build — real acreage, real distance from the neighbors, and the kind of sites where planning the utilities and the drive matters as much as planning the house. We handle new builds, additions, and remodels through here, and we're close enough that a site visit isn't a production.
Yale & Glencoe, OK
Yale and Glencoe are small, and that's the point. Building in towns like these usually means working on family land, or on a piece someone's been holding for years waiting for the right time. We're set up for that kind of job: one contractor handling the whole build, crews that come from commercial work where the standards are tight, and honest numbers before anything starts. Both towns are inside twenty-five minutes of us in Ripley.
Pawnee, OK
Pawnee is at the north edge of what we cover, up where the country opens out toward the Arkansas River. It's rural building in the fullest sense — long drives, well and septic, and sites that need thinking about before they need framing. We build new homes and handle general contracting through Pawnee County, and we'd rather take on a site with complications than one that's already been flattened for us.
Mannford & Keystone Lake, OK
The Keystone Lake area is some of the most sought-after building land in our whole service radius, and it comes with its own set of problems: slope, access, trees, and the fact that everyone wants the view. Getting a house to sit right on a lot like that takes planning at the front end, not adjustments once the foundation is poured. We build in Mannford and around the lake, and we're comfortable with sites that need work before they're ready. If you're looking at a piece out there and want a second opinion on whether it'll build, ask us before you buy.
Sapulpa, OK
Sapulpa is the Tulsa end of our range, and it's a different kind of client — often someone who works in the city and wants to live outside it. That's exactly the trade we understand. We build west and south of Sapulpa where the lots get bigger, and we handle the general contracting on renovations and additions in town. Our commercial crews already work throughout the Tulsa metro, so this isn't unfamiliar territory for us.
Bristow, OK
Bristow sits on the old Route 66 corridor between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, in the middle of a lot of good building country. It's the kind of place where people build to stay — houses meant for the long run, not the next move. We take on new builds, additions, and remodels through Bristow and the surrounding parts of Creek County, and we bring the same crews and standards to a house here as to a commercial job in Tulsa.
Also Serving
Ripley, Stroud, Chandler, Agra, Cleveland, Jennings, Kellyville, and the country in between. If you're somewhere in the box between Highway 412 and I-44 and you're not sure whether we come out that far, call and ask — usually the answer is yes.
Rural Building
Building Outside City Limits Isn't the Same Job
Water and Septic
Wells, septic systems, and perc tests come before the house does. We plan for them up front instead of finding out later.
Getting Power and a Drive In
Utility runs and driveways can be a real line item on a rural site. We price them honestly rather than burying them.
Permits Vary by County
Payne, Creek, Pawnee, and Lincoln counties don't all work the same way. We handle that so you're not chasing it.
FAQ
Questions About Where We Build
How far will you travel?
About an hour from Stillwater in most directions, which covers Payne, Creek, Pawnee, Lincoln, and Logan counties. If you’re just past that, ask — it depends on the job.
Do you build inside city limits?
Yes. We lean rural because that’s the work we like, but we build in town when the project is right.
Do you charge extra for jobs farther out?
Distance factors into a bid the same way anything else does, and we’ll tell you if it’s a real number for your site. No hidden travel fees added after the fact.
Not Sure If We Come Out That Far? Just Ask.
Tell us where the land is and what you’re planning. We’ll tell you straight.
